I understand your heartaches.

The only reason I've encoded it as a WMV is becuase Movie Maker (a truly sh?te piece of software) has a "maximum filesize" option, so I can get nice sized files, reasonable quality and none of the f?nnying around with frame rates and bit rates.

If only the format was consistant and stable.

You really need to get an external mic cause the train scene at the begining was very hard to hear because of all the background noise

I thought your performance was very funny [I'm beginning to think you are good at comedy acting- or at least it makes me laugh anyway].

It didn't take itself seriously and it was enjoyable with plenty laughs.

Plus I noticed there was some footage shot up my way... I believe I saw an angel.

Yeah. All shot on location (well, a bit). Got a ridiculous amout of footage going up to Scotland and whittled it down to a minute.

well I finally got to watch it on a windows boxen.

i thought it was okay, but it wouldn't pass my 'channel hopping' test (ie, if I were channel hopping the TV and this came on, would it grip me enough to continue watching)

but then i'm a miserable old s0d.

for example i thought the opening sequence was cool, very film noir type graphic appeal. but this style was not carried across throughout, i got very bored watching the montage of traffic, that's about when i switched off. but perhaps that's because I drive 120 miles a day.

anyways, i'm a difficult t0sser, i don't believe in needless back-patting so i won't. other than to say, i appreciate the sweat and tears that go into any production so i applaud you for your effort. hey, at least you got feedback, unlike when I post my stuff!

my rating - 5/10
(strictly average - nothing to be ashamed of, excerpts for the showreel ...)

I'm sure your place on imdb awaits ...

BTW, i think I would have preferred to d/l a 50MB or 150MB file with better quality, that may have helped my viewing pleasure. (though I appreciate dial-up ***** )

Hey there.

I watched it. To be honest I had trouble getting past the bad picture and bad sound. I thought the Vids bit was great. And worked very well. That's a great idea to put that kind of character into a movie. I thought you did great. In fact at first I thought you were just miming under the actually sounds from vids. It was a great impression.

The end titles were good too.
